One Direction in your shoe

For the young British band “One Direction”, New Music Labs came up with a promo concept: simply put a little gift for the band in your shoe, upload a picture of it and in return the band will provide you with a new song and a goody-package. The idea came from the Dutch tradition of celebration ‘Sinterklaas’ on December 5th. Learn more about it and watch the video here.

Giglocker Iphone app

New Music Labs is close to finishing a new app for the Iphone to keep track of all the amazing bands you’ve seen: the Giglocker.
Giglocker will find you concerts in your area and gives you the ability to ‘lock’ them when you visite them. You attach pictures, reviews, videos and ratings to your locked gig. Ofcourse you can also share your gigs on facebook or twitter with your friends.

CONCEPT
For a limited period of time the new Blof video is only visible for people liking the Blof fanpage. After liking the page fans can download an exlusive track by sharing their e-mailaddress.

Create (online) buzz around the new album Wasting Light

CONCEPT
Foo Fighters released the song White Limo with a video containing a white limo. The same white limo drove through The Netherlands for three days. Fans could trace the limo by following it on a map on the website and by clues on twitter given by the driver and Eric Corton, a DJ from national radio station 3FM. Fans who spotted the limo…

Spread the new music video of Anna Calvi and collect mailinglist subscribers.

CONCEPT
Create a Facebook app whereby fans of Anna Calvi can share the new music video on their wall. Also, in exchange for their e-mailaddress they will receive a download for the new single.

GOAL
Create a chart for 50 Serious Talent bands selected by 3FM

CONCEPT
New Music Labs created the first chart based on social media with our tool Tribe Monitor for national radio station 3FM. Tribe Monitor tracks all 3FM Serious Talents (local bands they promote) on different social media platforms. With the collected statistics we generate a list with the 20 most popular acts. It’s a realtime chart, which means it can change every hour.

Hurts

GOAL
Sony Music Netherlands asked us to create a campaign for the band Hurts around their show in Paradiso Amsterdam. Goal was to generate (online) buzz about this new up and coming artist.

CONCEPT
Hurts is known for their awesome artwork and very keen on look and feel.
Professional streetpainters made a special Hurts 3D drawing next to Paradiso. Both band and visitors had their picture taken in this drawing to fuel the conversation…

Adam Lambert

GOAL
Create online buzz about the new Adam Lambert video

CONCEPT
A website where fans could retweet a message with the new video and add their own comment. The person with the best message won a tweetmeet: a 30 minute chat with Adam on Twitter. Very cool because Adam Lambert has more than 845.000 followers on Twitter.

I think she said: We made a webapplication where you can give your own interpretation on what happened in court in the She Said video from Plan B. It was easy to share this video on all social platforms.

Track results for campaigns on social media

CONCEPT
TRIBE MONITOR is a social statistics aggregator that tracks most social media statistics (Twitter followers, Youtube views, Myspace plays, etc.) and reports these figures in a fancy dashboard. It also gives you weekly reports in your mailbox and alerts you when a certain goal is achieved. Very soon Airplay data for NL will be available too.

iPhone App Don Diablo

Don Diablo
is the first dutch artist to have his very own iPhone Application. With this ‘Don Diablo Application’, fans can stay close and hear all news, tracks and see all video from the device in their pocket.For this App we used the framework of Mobile Roadie.
